“Big things have humble beginnings.”
Believe it or not, it’s been nearly four years since we started on this journey and it’s amazing how far we’ve come. What started out as a handful of athletes, a driveway, and a garage has become a group of almost 100 athletes training every day in a small space packed full with equipment and energy. Talk about progress.
Things were pretty good. But good enough rarely is. While it would be easy to rest on our laurels, we’re not known for that. This is why we’ve been working hard to find a new home for our athletes and making Focus 2.0 a reality.
Look at all this floor space. It will give us so much extra room to do activities! – Brennan (Step Brothers)
The new facility is significantly larger than our original space and you can bet that we’ll be using every inch. Adaptation and growth come when we introduce new and different stimuli into our routine—that’s why we’ve filled the new space with the familiar, and the unfamiliar.
While our old space certainly felt like home, it was time for a change. Positive change is a cornerstone of our program. If you aren’t growing and evolving, you’re standing still, and the rest of the world is surging ahead. But the competitor in me won’t allow that to happen. You’ve all become bigger, stronger, and faster, which is why the new space needed to reflect all your PRs and progress.
“A true hero is not measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart. – Hercules.” Our team certainly has a lot of heart.
Thanks to everyone who helped and sacrificed to make this happen.
This is Focus 2.0.
